Subaru unveiled their latest concept the Subaru VIZIV-7 Concept at the LA Auto Show today. With three rows and seating for seven passengers, the VIZIV-7 Concept is the replacement for the now out of production Tribeca.
This is definitely a closer version to what the production vehicle will look like compared to the original VIZIV concept released at the 2015 Tokyo Auto Show. VIZIV stands for Vision for Innovation and utilizes Subaru’s new DYNAMIC x SOLID design language.
According to Fuji Heavy Industries executive vice president Takeshi Tachimori”The concept expresses our core brand values, safety, dependability, capability for outdoor activities and a forward looking attitude. We know customers in this segment want a full-sized vehicle and the next 3-row from Subaru will be the biggest Subaru vehicle ever.”
No mention of powertrains, interior, or anything else worth noting, but the Subaru press release notes that this vehicle will be slated for production in early 2018. How much different will the production version look? Stay tuned to subienews.com for the latest as we get more information.
